The Fairy Thief – Very detailed trigger warnings

On pages 220-225 Raiker talks about how when he was a teenager, his mother was attacked and the perpetrators pulled off her wings. Raiker's mother fell into a deep depression after and then died by suicide- jumping off of a waterfall.

Grief and Loss are themes explored in depth throughout the novel, with several characters mourning the death of a loved one. If these are sensitive subjects for you, tread softly while reading The Fairy Thief.

On pages 441-443 Petra finds Raiker after he has been extensively tortured. He has signs of starvation, wounds, and broken limbs. He reacts with extreme fear, panic, and confusion. The torture is not directly depicted.
